Ferry Sports Centre

Based in North Oxford, Ferry Sports Centre is a popular venue for use by the schools and Colleges located in the surrounding areas. Continued community usage was paramount during the improvements, so the new extension to the front of the building, upgraded reception area and changing rooms were all delivered whilst the Centre operated normal opening hours. The extension has increased the capacity of the existing gym to 100 stations.

The £600,000 investment programme is being delivered in conjunction with Fusion Lifestyle Leisure Trust operator. As well as Barton and Blackbird Leys Leisure Centres, Ferry Sports Centre has seen advancements due to Oxford City Councils dedication to increasing customer satisfaction at their facilities. In line with their vision of creating a “world class city for everyone” all three sites have undergone improvements, bettering the customer experience by providing value for money in quality facilities.
