Barton Leisure Centre

During improvements to three local authority leisure centres in Oxford, Barton Leisure Centre has had a new gym installed as well as a revised reception area and upgraded changing rooms. Within the first few months of the redeveloped Centre being open, membership for the gym at Barton has increased by 80%.

Barton Leisure Centre is one of three leisure centres to gain improvements as part of Oxford City Council’s aim to increase participation in sport which is delivered with Fusion Lifestyle Leisure Trust. Along with Blackbird Leys Leisure Centre and Ferry Sports Centre, key developments include new receptions, upgraded changing areas, new or increased gyms and a spin studio.
