Feltham Airparcs

The Clarkson Alliance works closely with non-profit distribution trusts managing health and leisure centres to enable local authorities to upgrade their facilities.

At Feltham Airparcs Leisure Centre in west London, we are helping to create a ‘leisure hub’ by building a brand new, 300m2 library and joining it to revamped leisure facilities with a double-height, dual entrance. A massive upgrade will see the existing facility transformed into a state-of-the-art, 100 station gym; old tennis courts will be upgraded and covered to allow year-round use, and there will be a smart new café. Families will benefit from improvements to the changing facilities that include creating a large ‘changing village’, and the crèche is being moved next to the library.

The alterations and improvements will give the hub an entire new look and link the hub into the surrounding park. All the facilities will be visible from the new main entrance, while the café will open out on to a newly re-landscaped area at the front of the building. There will be two exercise studios, the larger of which will have views of the newly landscaped rear courtyard and the park beyond.
