Process

The Clarkson Alliance has taken the lead in developing a new style of project management that focuses on delivering business benefits to clients. It’s based on our own extensive knowledge of the markets we operate in: heritage, health and leisure, and education.

Every project is different. So we start by working with our client using strategic planning techniques to find out precisely what the project must deliver. When we fully understand our client’s needs and expectations we create a quality plan. This covers standards; quality control and audit processes; change management procedures and lines of responsibility.

Identifying the unique opportunities involved in a project and creating strategies to mitigate any risk is at the core of our success. To measure our ability to deliver on time and on budget we follow Prince2, the international standard for process-based project management. And so that the whole design team follows a similar intelligent and proactive approach we procure contractors under the NEC Suite of Contracts, which shifts the focus on to outcomes and encourages collaboration. We helped shape these contracts and believe they improve performance throughout the supply chain.

When the project is delivered, we go through a review based on results and feedback, which ensure continuous improvement.

Indeed, I was very confident in them, very confident that they would do a good job. They were just so competent.
